Indiana Bulldog Rescue – Bulldogs are one of the five top breeds of dogs in the United States, according to the American Kennel Club. Bulldogs are more identifiable than any other breed-some of our favorite sports teams, and the American Marine Corps has a beloved mascot. No other race is more common than the Bulldog. Bulldogs are well-known for their loyalty, persistence, stubbornness, security, strong personality, and tireless fellowship.

Indiana Bulldog Rescue

Although Bulldog’s wrinkles, distinctive underbite, bow legs, and stub-like stature are most widely known, bulldogs are available in all shapes. The bulldogs are most commonly English, French, American, and Victorian and Olde English bulldogs. All the Bulldogs are quite similar and yet so different.

Bulldogs, practices which became illegal in the 1800s, were bred centuries ago to hold, manage, and bait bulls. The Bulldog has grown significantly over time, considering its sporting heritage.

How Does Indiana Bulldog Rescue Work?

Indiana Bulldog Rescue Review

Adoption

Only families living in Indiana and western Ohio, and Kentucky, will embrace Bulldog Rescue. In those regions, we have volunteers that can support adoption and are also the only areas in which adoptions can be considered.

To start the adoption process, a total application is required. Please note to complete the full request and postpone leaving blanks.

Before finishing the application, please read the About Bulldogs page, discuss this information with the whole family and make sure you are committed to a Bulldog’s uniqueness for his / her whole life.

If you have children that are less than eight years old in your household, it is essential to realize that it will take a little longer to have a dog in your home. The readiness of the foster dogs to live with small children is tested case-by-case. Indiana Bulldog Rescue may not make any exceptions after we have decided on suitability for young children. This strategy is intended to protect the Bulldog and the adoptive family.

Indiana Bulldog Rescue takes care to make sure that these bulldogs will live in a much better home.

  • If anyone sends a submission, a bulldog must not be adopted.
  • If anyone needs a veterinary inspection, a bulldog is not guaranteed.
  • When anyone is interviewed on the phone, a bulldog can not be guaranteed.

The team is committed to Indiana Bulldog Rescue and assures them they will not struggle anymore. Indiana Bulldog Rescue lets them live in harmony.

The Process of Adoption

Indiana Bulldog Rescue Review

  • Stage 1. One can complete an Adoption Application and submit it to us. They can see the accessible encouraging canines here. If individuals are keen on receiving one of the bulldogs of Indiana Bulldog Rescue, the selection application is the initial step. Regardless of whether one has inquiries concerning the cycle or the canines, the quickest method to start the cycle is to present the finished application.
  • Stage 2. The selection group will audit your application and, if they feel like you may be a decent counterpart for one of our canines, they will connect with you to plan a telephone meeting. If the group doesn’t feel that any of our accessible bulldogs meets your needs and needs, don’t stress. We are in no surge. We endeavor to locate the ideal home for our cultivates. Indiana Bulldog Rescue group saves applications on the document for a half year.
  • Stage 3. If the application is pushed ahead simultaneously, our appropriation group will contact your veterinarian and individual references.
  • Stage 4. On the off chance that things progress suitably, Indiana Bulldog Rescue will set up a meet and welcome with the Bulldog that our reception group feels best suits you. The coordinating cycle can take some time since we are centered around finding the correct canine for the correct family.
  • Stage 5. When Indiana Bulldog Rescue feels like it may have a decent match, one of the volunteers will finish a home visit.
  • Stage 6. On the off chance that the home visit works out positively, the group will plan a date to start a multi-week preliminary selection. During this period, you can perceive how the Bulldog fits with your daily practice. When that week is finished, the appropriation might be settled, or the canine can be gotten back to us with no worries.
  • Stage 7. Before concluding the reception, one should pay the appropriation charge.

Reception expenses depend on the bulldog’s age:

  • Two years and under – $700
  • 3 to 4 years – $600
  • 5 to 6 years – $500
  • 7 to 9 years – $400
  • Ten years or more established – $200

After concluding the reception of the new relative, one should sign IBR’s appropriation contract.

Take Paws rescue is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing help for our little furry friends. The group operates in New Orleans, Los Angeles. The team has volunteers all over Louisiana, especially near the Southeast area. Take Paws Rescue was founded by an extremely kind and helpful woman named Monique Bonnaffons.

Early in life, she faced a situation that changed her perception of the world forever. In 2015, she found Clarence, a tiny adorable puppy facing a crucial and threatening situation. Monique decided to rescue Clarence.

Later, Monique went on to establish, Take Paws Rescue organization. Her husband and her five children helped her endlessly to support the group. She started rescuing puppies and nurturing them until they found an adoption home. Monique worked constantly to improve the environment of the organization in order to support the little puppies she rescued.

take paws rescue

Slowly more and more people started hearing about Take Paws Rescue and Monique found several volunteers. Today, the group rescues over 200 dogs every month and provides shelter and food. They also take care of several health issues that the dogs face. The group works tirelessly, day and night, to make the world a better place for these little friends.

All those years ago, all Monique had was a vision and determination. The organization has successfully saved thousands of dogs over the last few years. They also look for families who are willing to adopt puppies and dogs. The team also provides an opportunity to host parties for puppies.

There are also opportunities to make donations and take part in fundraising events. Take Paws Rescue has an online shop as well where they sell clothing items, mugs, wine glasses, and eco-friendly bags. The money raised by the online store is used to take care and look after the rescued dogs.

The organization has also set up a café where they foster and take care of rescued dogs. It is called The Stray Café and is located in New Orleans. The guests are allowed to unwind and interact with dogs while enjoying coffee and snacks. The place has a calm and delightful environment. This café was built to accommodate rescue dogs who have not found a foster or adoption home.

 How Take Paws Rescue Operate

Take Paws Rescue Review

There are several functions that the organization conducts.

Let us take a look at all the tasks that take Paws Rescue performs:

  • Conducting the surrender function: the team has an excellent provision for taking in dogs from owners who want to surrender their pets. Instead of leaving a dog on a road, people can now hand their pets over to Take Paws Rescue. This decreases the trauma of abandonment faced by the dog and it will be able to adjust better to a new environment. A surrender form is available on the website that needs to be filled out if an owner is looking to give up their dog. The form asks for some basic details about the owner and the dog. Once the form is filled and submitted, the pet is picked up from the owner and placed in a foster home.
  • Looking for a foster home: Take Paws Rescue volunteers to look for a foster home as soon as they take in a new dog. It is extremely important to find the correct type of home where the dogs will receive the necessary amount of attention. A foster family needs to provide sufficiently and the correct kind of nutrition to the dogs, take them to vets, and provide medical help if needed, assist in the development of different skills and training.  A foster home application form is available on the website. If you are willing to foster dogs and work with Taking paws rescue, fill out the form. Fill out the form and add all the important details if you are willing to foster puppies and dogs until they find a permanent, caring family.
  • Carrying out the adoption process: take Paws Rescue is constantly looking for families or individuals that are willing to adopt the rescued dogs. In order to adopt a dog from the organization, an adoption application form needs to be filled out. The adoption form requires a one-time payment of 10 dollars. After you have filled in all the necessary details in the form, the information will be reviewed by a coordinator responsible for adoption. Once the adoption coordinator approves the form, you will be asked to see the Home Visit Coordinator. Members from the Take paws rescue team will visit your home in order to inspect the environment and interact with the members of the family. The Home visit report will have to be approved by the Coordinator. Once this whole process has been completed you will be allowed to adopt a dog.
  • Hiring volunteers for Take Paws Rescue: the organization requires several volunteers for different departments. Each team of volunteers will be assigned a specific task. The first and important requirement is a Foster Coordinator. A person with good social skills is required who can talk to potential foster providers. The main duty of the Foster Coordinator is to make sure that the foster family understands the guidelines for fostering dogs. The next requirement is that of an adoption coordinator, one who will look into the whole adoption process. Similarly, the team also requires people who will volunteer to act as a medical coordinator and a home visit coordinator. There are openings for several other positions in the organization. If you really love dogs and want these adorable little friends, the team will find a place for you.

Their network is robust and has a team of volunteers that work day & night to transport, place, and do home checks for placing the rescued English Bulldogs. They had successfully rescued over 1000 bulldogs thus far since its inception a decade ago. They are not government aided organizations and rely entirely on independent donations.

Southern California Bulldog Rescue Mission & Goals

Southern California Bulldog Rescue Review

The prime mission of the organization to place the rescued bulldogs in an appropriate family. They have pledged their sweat & blood in making sure that bulldogs in Southern California enjoy a good life.

Their goals include the below-mentioned features:

  • To accept the surrendered bulldogs from the owners who are no longer interested in keeping them
  • To retrieve injured or sick bulldogs from the shelter or any other source and provide them with proper treatment
  • To provide stable, loving, and responsible families to the rescued bulldogs
  • To place the rescued or surrendered bulldogs and thereby also help to control the population of unwanted pets by doing the necessary surgical done before putting them
  • Before putting them provide them with basic training so that the new owners never discard them
  • To find suitable homes for the rescued English Bulldogs at the earliest so that they start their new life at the earliest
  • To do a complete screen check before handing over the bulldogs
  • Also, make the adopters learn about the bulldog needs and the things they should do to take care of the bulldogs

They started it a decade back and rather than quantity has focused entirely on quality so that the dogs they adopt give them a loving family. They welcome the people who approach them for surrender but take only if they have a vacancy or inform the owners to wait for a while. This way, they make sure that no dog remains homeless and that each one of them lives a life they thoroughly deserve.

Rescue Me Pet Foundation – The organization was found by Jeff Gold, who resides in Watkinsville, Georgia. He stays on the same farm where the rescued animals are brought. He started this organization way back in 2003 when he realized that boxers are not given the attention, and nobody is in to their rescue work. He started with an organization named Boxertown.

He started off finding homes for 500 boxers who were homeless and in the first two years, he achieved his target. After a few years, he decided to expand his horizon and save dogs of all breeds such as French Bulldogs, and Golden Retrievers among many others. Today the organization has re-homed over 10k dogs of various breeds and is still going strong. By the time home is not found for the dogs, he makes them stay at his farm and give them the luxury to play around and have fun.

Rescue Me Pet Foundation Review

The founder, Jeff also runs various online programs and through which he raises and places the homeless dogs. He has been felicitated with multiple awards for his contribution. He was the founder of Go.com an entity that he later sold to the giant entertainment company, Walt Disney. He is also the President of the NGO called World Environmental Organization. Today the organization has earned a niche for themselves and is immensely popular.

Rescue Me Pet Foundation Main Goal & Vision

Rescue Me Pet Foundation

The main goal, like various other dog rescue organizations, remains the same as rescuing the homeless and provide them with a family that adopts them with open arms. They have rescued dogs of various breeds, but bulldogs have been their forte. Thus far 9,603 bulldogs have been saved, and most of them as we learn was ‘French Bulldogs’. They provide proper training to the dogs that are rescued. Injuries are treated fairly well here believe it or not!

Rescue Me Pet Foundation holds a strong foothold, and hence that is why they receive enough donations. Not just the bulldogs but bulldogs mix are their forte, and you will find many unique breeds with them. On their adoption centers, they also produce some exciting dogs as per the requirements and provide it to the client who seeks them at an affordable price. That is how they run their organization.

Their vision is to expand their boundaries and have a presence in the entire United States. The organization is on the right path and hopefully, will achieve its targets.

Kentucky Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization based in Louisville, KY that is the largest animal adoption agency in Kentucky. Established in 1884, KHS is also the oldest national animal welfare organism. The Humane Society of Kentucky is a fellow animal champion.

They have built more compassionate communities through leadership, education, and constructive solutions. KHS envisages a day in which every animal accompanying the care, resources, and lifelong home that they deserve will be granted. Because of lack of space, the Kentucky Humane Community had never euthanized an animal. They are committed to saving any healthy animal we embrace.

The Kentucky Humane Culture stands for these guiding principles.

  • Always be Positive: To still embrace optimism with animals, with ourselves, with one another, and with our culture.
  • Matters of compassion: Meet with an open mind, friendliness, and reverence.
  • Inspire other people: To inspire cooperation, perseverance, and loyalty to our mission.
  • Ever-evolving: The transformation that our societies need leads.

How Does Kentucky Humane Society work

Kentucky Humane Society Review

Ultimately, 6,902 dogs, cats, and horses were rescued in 2019. Three thousand four hundred twenty-four cats, 3,398 dogs, and 80 horses have found new homes thanks to their incredible supporters. This includes 107 animals that have been moved to other settlements.

In 2019, 97% of the pets they took in were rescued, and only KHS is able to euthanize pets that are too severely ill, too unsafe, or too behaviorally unhealthy for recovery and acceptance. Others can learn from their policy on euthanasia. Their findings are soon posted to Shelter Animals Count, a national database that records information on animal shelters; learn how they measure their life saved percentage.

There are a number of explanations for this progress:

  • The number of animals they have taken has dropped drastically, as aggressive steps are being taken to end animal homelessness, such as spreading / neutering, conduct-change services, and programs that benefit pet owners, do not turn them into housing but can hold their livestock.
  • In 15 years, the number of animals they welcome has tripled.
  • Their medical and behavioral life-saving services and comprehensive foster programs enabled us to save even more fragile animals medically or in behaviors.
  • They accept animals by appointment so that the space available to them is sufficient, avoiding euthanasia because of a lack of space.

Though KHS is well known for adoption, they have several programs — all intended to reinforce the partnership between humans and pets and to end the overpopulation and homelessness of pets.

Adopting Animals by Kentucky Humane Society

Kentucky Humane Society Review

KHS has been able to find loving homes for over 6,000 cats and dogs a year at its two Louisville adoption centers that are mentioned at the bottom. At Purrfect Day Café, they also deliver feline adoptions. Both KHS animals are spread or neutered, microchips, worms, preventive flush, cardiovascular screened and vaccines are up-to-date. They make sure to train the animals well so that the new owners find it easy to adapt to them.

KHS has special behavior services that make it difficult to consider household pets with behavior problems.

Competence Preparation In-Shelter

KHS has a team of therapeutic personnel trained in modifying the actions of sheltered animals and enriching them in order to relieve stress. Opened in 2017, their behavioral team helps animals heal from cruelty, neglect, and lack of socialization. Sam Swope Pet Remediation offers peaceful facilitation. One hundred twenty-eight shelter dogs have completed and were adopted in 2019 from our behavioral network.

Kansas Humane Society: Working Cats

Cats that are not suitable for homes because of behavioral concerns are put in appropriate indoor/outdoor places, such as barns, warehouses, and garages, where they are caretakers, through their lifesaving Working Cats program. This service provides about 40 cats a year with new homes.

Kansas Humane Society: Clinic

  • More than 12,000 dogs and cats are distributed every year in their S.N.I.P. Clinic (Spay / Neuter Reward Programme) to alleviate pet overcrowding and to eradicate animal diseases in our future.
  • Thanks to grants this high-quality, affordable, and donor-subsidized clinic provides financial assistance to those who need it.
  • Owing to generous subsidies and private donors, the S.N.I.P. facility offers free operations for Pit Bull Terriers. About 1500 free surgeries for these dogs were given in 2019 by the S.N.I.P. Clinic.
  • More than 125,000 pets have been spread or neutered by the S.N.I.P. Clinic since opening in 2007. This has limited the number of cats and dogs turned over to the homes of their community. The number of local animals admitted to the Louisville shelters has plummeted since 2007 by more than 50 percent in their region.

Behaviour Training for Owned Dogs

KHS provides a range of educational opportunities to keep animals away from shelters and in their original homes. KHS trainers are trained and accredited properly. They offer a wide variety of courses from puppy and simple types, dog-reactive dog and shy dog lessons, canine sporting classes such as agility, as well as group therapy courses for particular problems.

KHS teachers use only constructive strengthening methods, and classes in Louisville will be taught. This is their one way to garner some bucks to run their organization.

Why Should You Adopt Animals?

Kentucky Humane Society Review

The acceptance of dogs and cat spares lives. You will have a companion for life. People can easily breed a dog or adopt a pet from their facility. A very defined breed of dog, cat, puppy, or kitten is of interest to others, and the only way they can find out a particular breed is to purchase from a puppy breeder or a breeder a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale.

However, animal shelters are full of dogs and cats that have to find homes. Hence, if you are interested in having one, you can contact them.

Wright-Way Rescue Review – Founded 17 years ago and headquartered in Illinois, Wright-way rescue is a dog rescue shelter that has saved more than 5,000 dogs to date. They simply aim to reduce the number of homeless pets with an adoption program. Their initiative includes educating the community about the adoption of pets; promoting spaying and neutering; along the veterinary medicine program.

Rescue Wright is not just a rescue center but also provides other facilities as well including adoption, shop to buy various goodies and merchandise from, surrendering a pet, and if at any moment you feel that the pet you have adopted is not adjusting correctly in your home, you can simply return to the organization.

It has a vet clinic as well where you can visit in case your pet requires any kind of medical treatment or assistance. Along with that, for newly adopted pets, at times their owners find it hard to train them and get things right. No need to worry, with Wright-way Rescue, you can find a trainer who will train your pet about all the basics and other details you require, thus making your life easy.

Being a non-profit organization, Wright-Way Rescue functions completely on the fees it charges for the adoption of pets and the donation it receives from individuals and other organizations.

Talking about the facility, Wright-Way Rescue is one of the very few organizations that has created two separate facilities for the rescued pets. While one center is specifically allocated the responsibility to handle adoption, the other, medical facility is in place to provide all the required medical treatment to the pets when and after they are rescued. They organize all the vaccinations and treatments in the dedicated center, hence showing their dedication towards rescuing pets.

Wright-Way Rescue Fact Check

Wright-Way Rescue Review

Talking in terms of numbers, from 2003 till 2020, the organization has saved approximately 40,000 pets and found loving and caring homes for more than 50,000 homeless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens.

In September 2020, Wright-Way Rescue saved 523 dogs and cats from various animal control facilities and owners who were not able to take their pets into their homes anymore due to some of the other lifestyle changes.

Not at any moment has this organization resorted to euthanizing pets just because they were not adopted, and the organization needed more space. NEVER! Once in their shelter, the animal stays there until they find him/ her the right home or it does due to natural cause.

Wright-Way Rescue has been leading its path and doing wonders in terms of recusing needy pets with a save rate of 97% in 2018. Their adoption rate has constantly been 3-4 times more than what the national average has been recorded with one of the highest in the nation now.

Wright-Way Rescue History

Wright-Way Rescue Review

Seventeen years ago, two college roommates found a puppy that was in line with dozens of other puppies’ euthanasia at a rural animal control facility. To save him from that, they stole him and hid him in their dorm, and started looking for a home for him. Once they were able to identify the puppy’s forever home, they sent him there.

One of the two young later went ahead on the same path of rescuing more such pets like dogs, cats, and lambs, thus forming Wright-Way Rescue.

The intent behind the initiative has remained the same since then, euthanasia at a rural animal control facility.

What Is The Process of Adoption?

Wright-Way Rescue Review

The process of adoption at Wright-Way Rescue has certain simple steps.

Let us look at each step closely:

  1. Visit the website wright-wayrescue.org and scroll through available adoptable pets.
  2. Once you have chosen the next family member of yours, fill an application form, and submit online.
  3. Eventually, when your application gets approved, you will get an intimation.
  4. Post-approval, you need to contact them to get further details about a specific pet and their team will help you identify your next family member.
  5. After you are sure about which pet you want to adopt, you can go ahead and make a reservation for adoption.
  6. When your reservation becomes secured, you will be notified about the schedule for your curbside adoption date and time.

Due to the onset of COVID-19, it is incredibly important that Wright-Way Rescue maintains the safety of both you and their team. There are certain changes they have made in their process of adoption, thus taking complete measures to ensure the safety of everyone.

Please note the following changes in their process:

  • Until it is safe again, the rescue team has decided that the counselors will process every application virtually.
  • The adoptions will only be taking place through appointments which will be scheduled by the staff and volunteers.
  • You would be told in advance about the scheduled time of pickup.
  • Keeping the current COVID-19 situation in mind, as a part of the safety measures, you would be requested to stay in your vehicle throughout the process of adoption.
  • The team and volunteers will maintain social distancing to protect both you and their team.

Kind of Pets Available for Adoption

Wright-Way Rescue has two locations, each one with a specific purpose. One is an intake center and the other is the adoption center. In the intake center, rescued animals are bought in.

Once they are given proper vaccination and are groomed properly for adoption, they are sent to the adoption center, mostly to North Shore Humane Centre in Morton Grove from the Admission and Care Campus located in Southern Illinois.

Various kinds of pets are available for adoption.

The category of pets includes:

  • Dogs
  • Puppies
  • Kittens
  • Cats
  • Lamb Farm

Adoption Fees

The rescue center has been providing various saved pets with a home they can have their happily ever after in. Every year they rescue thousands of animals and have something for everyone. From a puppy to a dog, and from a kitten to a cat. The fee for each one of them differs.

Let us look at the adoption fee for each pet:

The Kansas Humane Society has committed themselves to the noble purpose of taking care of abandoned dogs of their community. The group nurtures these dogs back to good health; they save the dogs for immediate dangers that they have on the streets.

It is a non-profit organization started 128 years ago, and they have grown bigger and bigger and have expanded their workforce and efficiency. Their animal shelter has provided thousands of abandoned pets from the streets and provided them with a roof, food, comfort, and the chance for a new life with a new family.

kansas humane society

This works both ways you can also surrender a pet to them so that they can find a new owner for it. At Kansas Humane Society they provide several services in favor of the animals that have been left alone to rot on the streets.

They speak for those animals on social media to increase awareness about this selfish act of abandoning an animal; they work towards building and strengthening the human and animal bond. This is done by providing services like- pet adoption, pet behavior consultancy, field trips for kids, and many others.

The society also offers hygienic management of dead pets; they call it slow pet services. They also take the initiative in inspiring the youth against animal violence. The mission of this society is to make people understand how valuable is a bond for their pets, how much trauma does the animal take on the streets.

They are dedicated to the betterment of both the animal-human bond and their services for the silent companions both when they are owned and after they are abandoned. The main goal of the team is to decrease the number of stray animals and provide the animal with a new family after they recover in their care. They manage to do all this without any help from the US federal government.

Kansas Humane Society is totally funded by private donations. They are a non-profit organization that does not receive any help from the federal, state governments in the USA. They do not intend to use any of the taxpayers’ money for their services. They just take the generous donations from helpful individuals and do whatever they can to help the helpless with it. It is truly a noble purpose to pay a donation for, the money is assured to be used for a good cause.

How Does Kansas Humane Society Work?

Kansas Humane Society Review

The organization provides several services for helpless animals. From the end of life care to cremations, from lost and found to adoptions they almost do it all in their limits to do what they can to help the animals. Some of their best services are enlisted and discussed below.

Admission or Pet Surrender

kansas humane society

The admission of a previously owned pet is done through appointments. The grace period of these appointments are 10 minutes, latecomers have to reschedule their appointments to the next available date. The appointment hours are 11:00 am to 5:45 pm on weekdays and from 1:00 am to 4:30 pm on Sundays.

If the number of animals to be admitted is more than one, then the appointment time is limited to 5 pm on weekdays. The admission takes 45 to 60mins. A photo ID is compulsory. The volunteers in the society will take the background information of the pet and its medical history; the time for this can be saved by filling the forms of background information online.

The admission fee is very minimal; the owner is asked to donate an amount between $5 to $50. No animal is turned down because of the owner’s inability to pay, so there is no compulsion on an admission fee. They appreciate any donation they can get because they receive 16000 per year.

A good amount of money is required to maintain this huge number of pets. It can be hard to surrender your pet; in fact, the owner does it for a valid reason. So at KHS it is very well taken care of that animals stay in peace in their shelter. If your pet is not a part of the adoption program, you can reclaim it with your reclaim program.

DP Management by Kansas Humane Society

Kansas Humane Society Review

The dead pet management is huge help provided by the KHS; they provide a pet euthanasia service for the pets to free from their sufferings. This is a very heartbreaking process, so the team handles it with huge delicacy. They charge $60 for euthanasia of the pet, and if the pet is already dead, they take the dead body for $35. Euthanasia is performed by trained officials painlessly. Walk-in services are available in this case during business hours.

You can find several packages for your dead pet’s funeral management and cremation. As a family member some owners want to have a funeral for their pets, KHS arranges for that in variable packages, which is- bronze for $139, silver for $189, and gold for $269.

Lost And Found Services by Kansas Humane Society

The best recommendations for lost pets are to attach a tag on the animal’s collar with the owner’s name and phone number on it so that when the animal is lost anyone who finds it can return it to the rightful owner. Micro IDs are more useful in this case as the tags might fall during the lost run of the animal.

You can contact KHS when your pet is lost if you live in the nearby community; otherwise, you will have to contact government animal rescue organizations for finding your animals effectively. Before you do that you can search in the places that the animal usually runs off to for making it sure that the case is a serious one.

Kansas Humane Society Contact

You can use several methods of communication to connect with the KHS. They are through

You can contact them with any queries and doubts they will clear them up, and for any other details, you can visit the official website of Kansas Humane Society as mentioned above.

Lucky Bulldogs Rescue is a non-profit team of workers who are willing to help and take care of dogs. This organization was founded by Stacy Perkins, Adam Covington, Katie Doyle, Tanya Ferrell, and Lyndsey Wright, along with other volunteers. All five members are extremely experienced and have conducted several years of rescue work. The team mainly operates in Iowa; however, they do adopt dogs from all over the United States.

lucky bulldog rescue

The primary aim of the team is to rescue and nurture brachycephalic or short snout dogs. Lucky Bulldogs Rescue focuses on rehabilitation, assessing, and training and dogs who are later adopted by loving families. They also accept dogs who have been surrendered by their former owners.

The organization has been taking care of French bulldogs, Boston terriers, pugs, and English bulldogs for years. Their objective is to train these dogs and help in developing social skills. The volunteers at Lucky Bulldogs Rescue work tirelessly to provide the rescued dogs with a healthy environment that will help them grow and become their true selves. Bulldogs and terriers are often abandoned. Therefore, this organization solely focuses on short-nosed dogs who need care and affection.

How does Lucky Bulldogs Rescue Operate?

Lucky Bulldogs Rescue Review

There are new functions conducted by the organization.

These are listed below:

  • Fostering dogs: the volunteers at Lucky Bulldogs Rescue take in and foster dogs. These furry little friends are taken to a vet if they require medical attention, they are also trained in different types of skills. Proper food and nourishment are provided by the volunteers at the foster homes. After a few weeks, every dog is evaluated based on several things. Once a dog qualifies, she or he becomes eligible for adoption.
  • Prepare for adoption: to adopt a dog; you will have to fill in an application that requires you to submit your contact and other relevant details. Application forms for dogs are available for a couple of weeks once the dog becomes ready for adoption. After you have completed the process, members at Lucky Bulldogs Rescue will go over each form to select the top two. Once they have shortlisted the applicants, they will make phone calls to both families to discuss the adoption process. Based on the conversation over the call, the members will choose the family best suited for adoption. Then they will conduct a home visit to know more about the potential adopter. This whole process takes about 5 to 6 weeks. Adoption fees range from $200 to $700.
  • Hiring volunteers: Lucky Bulldogs Rescue is always looking for volunteers. Being a volunteer does not always mean fostering dogs. There are several other duties that you can perform as a volunteer. You may be needed to help transport the dogs from one place to another, help with administrative functions, arrange for fundraising events, and go over the adoption applications. They accept volunteers from any part of the United States. All you need to become a volunteer is patience and a kind heart.
